In private practice in Arlington, Massachusetts since 1991, Dr. Barbara Lawnicki is a kind, compassionate dentist who uses the most advanced dental techniques available. She practices comfortable, health-centered dentistry with a strong emphasis on getting to know each of her patients.
In addition to being a master at her craft, Dr. Lawnicki takes the time to get to know each and every one of her patients by listening carefully so that she can design and explain the best treatment plan suited to the individual’s needs. She has dedicated her practice to showing how exceptional dentistry can improve the health, appearance and self-confidence of her patients.

Dr. Lawnicki grew up and attended high school in Woburn, MA. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Boston College then went on to receive her doctorate (DMD) degree from the Tufts School of Dental Medicine. She is a member in good-standing of the American Dental Association, Massachusetts State Dental Association and East Middlesex Dental Society.
In addition to her primary training, Dr. Lawnicki is dedicated to her continuing education and prides herself on participating in the many hours of the extended training required to stay a master of her craft. Courses taken at the Pankey Institute, the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education, and the Kois Center cover topics such as esthetics, occlusion, restorative dentistry, oral pathology, temporal mandibular joint issues and bite splint therapy. Dr. Lawnicki also belongs to several study groups including the The Molis Coaching Group. These highly skilled dental professionals meet regularly to discuss the advantages of the most innovative methods and techniques available in dentistry today as well as discuss difficult case treatments.
